Frequently Asked Questions for Edward~Dean Museum
- 42 — 60” Round Tables (seat 8) requires 120” Linens to go to the floor
- 32 — 8’ Banquet Tables (seat 8) requires 12’ banquet to go ½ way to floor and/or 8’ Banquet drape to go to the floor
- 4 — 6’ Banquet requires 6’ Banquet drape to go to the floor
- 8 — 4’ Banquet tables
- 1 — 4’ Round pedestal table for cake/punch
- 2 — 36’ Round tables
- 2 sections 4’ each of serpentine tables usually used to serve buffet, can be used for sweetheart table, gift table, etc
- 275 Banquet chairs, neutral in color
- 289 White wooden garden chairs
- 297 White PVC garden chairs
Please note that Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens does not provide linens.
- Your rental fee allows you to be on property from 9:00a-11:00p
- We only do one event per day and at this time do not have an hourly rate for weddings only
- We book 1 wedding per day, occasionally there are other museum related events happening on the property (Concerts are in the fall)
- Two in the Kay Building
- Two in the Pavilion
- 2 located adjacent to the Legacy Gardens
- • Policy for the property and for you and your guests safety
- It is a policy for liability insurance for your protection
- Only if it is an A+ rated company
- We do not provide linens we recommend you have your decorator or caterer obtain them as they can get you the best pricing
- We have a list of vendors who are familiar with our venue
- If they are licensed bonded and insured, yes.
- As a courtesy we will hold your date for 2 weeks, if another party wants your date we will make a call to you for first right of refusal
- We have a list of vendors who are familiar with the venue as well as others that desire to work here as well. It is recommended that you meet with 3 vendors from each category you are interested in, have tastings, see samples of work and talk to recent references
- Balance for venue rental is due 30 days in advance of your event.
- Payments are accepted, we take cash, credit, debit or check.
- We are open to the public Friday- Sunday; tours for wedding bookings are also available by appointment Thursday.
- Friday and Sunday weddings/events are offered at a reduced rate.
- We take bookings up to 1 year in advance
- The level of service provided depends on the needs of the bride, and is available at different fees based on the services requested
- Please allow 45 working days post event
- Event closure due to policy violation
- Damage to the venue
- We have 2 commercial refrigerators on property
- All Rentals must be removed day of event
